How much is the security deposit and what is it for?

A deposit is required to hold the desired date of your event for all bookings. This deposit is held until the end of the event once the venue is returned to its original condition; clean and tidy. Refund will be returned up to 7 days after event once facility is inspected for damages and cleanliness.

Your full balance is due 2 weeks prior to scheduled event to avoid cancellation or late fees. This amount DOES NOT include the $200 deposit. That is a separate amount.

Are we able to bring in our own vendors?

We do not have restrictions on vendors/ catering. You are more than welcome to bring in your own food and drinks to your event.

What do you accept for payments?

We accept cash, cashiers check, and money orders made out to "The Event Groupie." Personal Checks are accepted, but if returned, a $35 return fee will be processed in the event that this occurs.

Are we required to have insurance for our venue rental?

Yes. Insurance is required for all venue rentals. You must have a $1,000,000 policy for a day rental. In the event that anything happens, you are covered. This can be purchased by using www.theeventhelper.com. You are required to present this prior to receiving access to the building for your event.
